Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, including benefits administration, compliance, HRIS management, compensation support, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and the ability to navigate complex HR processes with accuracy and confidentiality. This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive and compliant employee experience across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, 401(k), FMLA, disability, and professional development benefits
  • Coordinate benefit enrollments, renewals, audits, ACA compliance activities, etc.
  • Conduct new hire benefits orientation and manage annual open enrollment
  • Serve as the primary resource for employee benefits and leave-related inquiries
  • Maintain and update HR policies to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Administer and track the Affirmative Action Plan; lead required annual reporting
  • Manage workers' compensation cases and coordinate ergonomic assessments
  • Prepare and submit compliance reporting, including OSHA, EEO-1, and other employment surveys
  • Support employees and leaders by interpreting HR policies and communicating legislative changes
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, volunteer activities, and company events
  • Maintain and optimize HRIS functionality; generate HR reports and provide data analysis
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation programs and salary structures
  • Partner with managers to review and update job descriptions
  • Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to support compensation decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; PHR/SPHR certification preferred
  • 2-4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with HRIS systems; ADP Workforce Now preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information and prioritize effectively

  • Pay range: $70-85k/yr.
